Hazmat crews respond to ‘hazardous materials incident’ at the Pentagon - BERITAJA

Virginia emergency crews deployed to the Pentagon connected Thursday greeting for what authorities described arsenic a “hazardous materials incident.”

Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell confirmed that “sophisticated systems” had “detected an aerial value rumor necessitating precautionary measures until we find its significance.”

“The Department is executing modular protection protocols, including a shelter-in-place bid for the affected area,” Parnell added, referring to the Defense Department. “Response teams are successful spot and fresh to support building occupants.”

In a station connected X, the Arlington County Fire Department said emergency units, including its hazardous materials team, were “operating astatine the Pentagon successful support of PFPA’s Hazmat Team during a hazardous materials incident.”
